WPC Wall Panels overview
WPC wall panels are extruded from PVC resin and wood fibre, then laminated with a decorative film. The result is a panel that looks like timber or stone but does not absorb water, does not need painting and does not support mould growth — which is why they have replaced wall tiles and wallpaper in wet and high-turnover interiors.
The core is hollow, so a 9 mm panel weighs about 5.5 kg per m². A three-person crew can clad a hotel corridor without scaffolding, and the tongue-and-groove joint means no visible screws: clips and adhesive are hidden behind the panel.
We extrude in-house, so the panel width is a production parameter rather than a catalogue limitation. If your market needs a 190 mm or 220 mm module to suit a ceiling grid or a wall bay, we cut a die for it. Die cost is waived above a first order of 3,000 m².

How it is installed
- Check the substrate is flat to within 3 mm over 2 m and dry. Seal damp masonry with a vapour barrier first.
- Fix the first panel plumb with clips at 400 mm centres, or bond with MS polymer adhesive directly to a sound substrate.
- Slide the following panels into the tongue-and-groove, keeping joints tight and consistent in the light direction.
- Finish with the matching corner trim, skirting and, for ceilings, a false beam profile.
WPC Wall Panels — buyer questions
What is the difference between 159 mm and 203 mm WPC panels?
Width only. Wider panels cover a wall with fewer joints and fewer clips, which reduces labour cost on large flat walls. Narrower panels bend more easily around columns and are easier to carry in a lift, so they are often chosen for refurbishment work.
Can WPC wall panels be used in a bathroom?
Yes, provided the panel is not directly in the shower spray zone. The core does not absorb water, so a 9 mm panel is suitable for bathroom walls and ceilings. In the shower enclosure itself we recommend a solid 5 mm panel or a UV marble sheet with sealed joints.
Do the panels need an expansion gap?
Yes. Leave 3–5 mm at each end and at abutments for a 2,900 mm panel. The material moves with temperature; a tight butt against a corner will eventually bow and open the joint.
